Ryanair has revealed their numbers for June, which shows the company’s traffic dropped by a whopping 97%. In June, the airline only carried around 400,000 passengers on approximately 2,800 scheduled flights.
The airline had a budget to operate 79,600 flights but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, restrictions has forced airlines to cut back significantly. The numbers present a huge drop from the 13.6 million passengers travelling with the airline in June 2019.
So far this year, the company has still managed to carry 107.2 million passengers; down 27% from the same period last year.
Ryanair said 95% of their June 2020 flights arrived on time.
